These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website ravebook.shop and any purchase you make from Ravebook ("we", "us", "our"). They form a legally binding agreement between you and Ravebook. By browsing the site, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

Ravebook is an online-only retailer of premium dog supplies based in the United Kingdom.

We do not operate a physical store. All orders are placed through ravebook.shop and delivered by courier.

2. Eligibility to order

By placing an order with us you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.
  • The delivery address is a valid UK postal address that you are authorised to receive deliveries at.
  • The information you provide is accurate, complete, and not misleading.

3. Products

We make every effort to display product images, descriptions, weights, and ingredients as accurately as possible. However:

  • Colour reproduction can vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
  • Sizes, weights, and packaging can be updated by manufacturers without notice.
  • Products are intended for healthy domestic dogs; we always recommend consulting a veterinary professional if your dog has specific dietary or medical needs.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any item at any time.

4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is free on every UK order. While we take great care with our pricing, occasional errors can occur. If we discover a pricing error on an item you have ordered, we will contact you and offer the choice of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling at no cost.

5. Orders and contract formation

  1. You browse the site and add products to your basket.
  2. You proceed to checkout, review your basket, enter your delivery details, and submit your order.
  3. We send you an order acknowledgement email. This is not an acceptance of your order.
  4. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a separate dispatch confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion — for example, where a product is mispriced, out of stock, suspected of fraud, or where delivery is not feasible.

6. Payment

The only payment method accepted by Ravebook is Cash on Delivery, payable in GBP cash to the Royal Mail courier at delivery. We never collect, store, or transmit card or bank details on our site. Full details are in our Payment Policy.

7. Delivery

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom via Royal Mail. Standard total delivery time is 3–7 business days. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. For full delivery terms, please see our Shipping Policy.

8. Returns, refunds, and cancellation

You have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items can also be returned for replacement or refund. Refunds are processed by UK bank transfer within 14 days. Full terms are in our Returns & Refund Policy.

9. Your statutory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

10. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, our servers, or our database.
  • Use any automated system to scrape, copy, or interfere with the site or its data.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.

11. Intellectual property

All content on ravebook.shop — including text, product images, photography, logos, brand names, illustrations, and site code — is the property of Ravebook or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial browsing.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ravebook is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or purely economic loss arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or the products. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the value of the relevant order. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

13. Force majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, strikes, courier failure, or government action.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on ravebook.shop at the time you place the order. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any contract formed under them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that residents of Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.

17. Complaints procedure

We take every complaint seriously. If something has gone wrong with your order, please email support@ravebook.shop with the subject line "Complaint" and your order number. We will acknowledge your complaint within one business day and aim to provide a full written response within 14 days. If the issue is complex and needs longer, we will keep you updated in writing at least every 14 days until it is resolved.

18. Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and ODR

If we cannot resolve your complaint internally, you may refer the matter to a certified UK ADR body or contact Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133. Consumers based in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Nothing in this clause prevents you from issuing court proceedings in accordance with section 15 above.

19. Notices

Any notice we send you under these Terms will be sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Any notice you send us should be addressed to support@ravebook.shop or by post to 190 Osmaston Rd, Derby DE23 8JU, United Kingdom. Notices sent by email are deemed received on the next business day after sending.

20. Assignment

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation — for example, in the context of a business reorganisation — provided this does not adversely affect your rights as a consumer. You may only assign your rights or obligations under these Terms with our prior written consent.

21. Third-party rights

These Terms are between you and Ravebook. No other person has any right to enforce any of these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

22. Severability

Each clause of these Terms operates separately. If any court or competent authority decides that any clause is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will continue in full force and effect.

23. Waiver

If we delay enforcing any right under these Terms, this does not mean we have waived that right. Any waiver must be given in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Ravebook.

24. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns & Refund Policy, Payment Policy, and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ravebook in relation to your purchase, and supersede any prior representations or agreements, whether written or oral.
